University of Maine 4-H Summer Camp at Blueberry Cove: Camp Counselor

For a summer job, I worked as a camp counselor at the University of Maine's 4-H summer camp, Blueberry Cove. While working as a counselor, I also co-lead the marine ecology focus, teaching overnight campers about Maines intertidal ecosystem, tides, general information about the ocean and more.

Head Lifeguard & Swim Instructor

2018-2021

I spent 4 years working as a lifeguard and swim instructor, getting promoted to head lifeguard after just 1 year of work. I coordinated and taught swim lessons to children ages 3 to 14 years old, maintained proficiency in CPR, First Aid, and rescue techniques, and monitored behaviors for safety violations.
